The Premise

Endless night has fallen. The world is ending. Monsters are coming. Ten days ago, the world went dark from an unknown cause. Civilization is starting to fall apart as generators fail and gas supplies started to diminish. Monsters of the darkness known as "Them" arrived, and now anyone who leaves the safety of light never returns.

What is Ten Candles?

Ten Candles is a comedy horror tabletop Roleplay game where players tell the story of the last few hours of survivors in an apocalyptic world. Played by the light of ten tea candles, the game features a unique, inevitable conclusion: as candles are extinguished and the room goes dark, all characters meet their end. It's a little bit different from traditional tabletop roleplya games like Dungeons and Dragons. Instead of rolling to see if your character has succeeded at ther action, you roll to take control of the narrative. So it is a much more collaborative storytelling experience. If this doesn't mean much to you, don't worry! All will be explained and gently encouraged at the event.

Tone

Although this is a game specifically created around the Horror Genre, we aim to keep it at a PG/ PG13 rating and the game is often some mild horror tropes fused with a lot goofiness. The main aim is for you to have fun, the needs of the players are ALWAYS more important than serving the narrative.
