women's singing circle

This is a weekly singing circle for women to come together and share simple songs, with canons/ rounds, body percussion and some basic polyphonic singing. This event is queer and trans friendly. 

You do not have to have good English to attend this event, nor do you need to read music or have singing experience. This event is about leaving your ego at the door, sharing cultures and building community.

Day: Tuesday

Time: 19:00 - 20:30

Price: this is a donation-based event, pay what you can. All funds go towards keeping the club going.

About me: I'm Alice Turner, a native from the UK with a background in arts and theater. I aim to create a space to share and exchange songs and canons.

If you have an easy-to-learn song you wish to share, please bring it along!

Languages: The sessions will be conducted mostly in English but some songs will be in other languages (Bulgarian, etc) as a way to share different languages and cultures.
